Mallnitz is one of the most beautiful hiking regions in Europe and is the ideal starting point for hikes and mountain tours in the Hohe Tauern National Park region of Carinthia.
A varied range of hiking routes is offered here. Alpine hiking is staged in the 3 high valleys and on 3 altitude levels, from the valley location at 1,200 m over the alpine region to the summit region at over 3,000 m.
There is a suitable tour for every age group on 150 kilometers of hiking trails. Summiteers will also get their money’s worth here. The offer for mountaineers ranges from leisurely mountain tours to demanding summit ascent.
Mallnitz has been a member of the “Alpine Pearls” since 2009 and is one of the 21 places in the Alps that enable special holiday enjoyment through gentle mobility. By not using the car, absolute relaxation and a stress-free vacation is poss.
